Kaba elolegic
takes security to a whole new level. It adds
electronic intelligence via an encrypted proximity
chip to mechanical lock systems, existing or
new. It is designed to be used on its own or in conjunction with the
Kaba experT, Kaba Quattro or Kaba Gege security
key systems. Cylinders are a stand-alone application requiring no cabling. The correct mechanical key as well as an authorized proximity chip imbedded in the head of the key is required before access is granted. Time controlled access as well as audit trail are another feature. Programming can be done simply at the door by the use of programming keys or if time controls and audit trails are required, the Organizer software and programmer are available |

The most important advantage compared with mechanical locking systems is the greater capacity of user variances for larger organizations and an immediate possibility of locking out lost or stolen keys or cards. The Kaba elolegic Lock offers the advantage to upgrade an already existing mechanical lock by using electronics and can be combined with a mechanical master key system or used in a stand alone application. The data stored in the Legic chip of media is transferred wireless through an antenna mounted in the fitting. As soon as the media is authorized the motor moves in a split second to engage the outside handle allowing access and then relocks automatically.

Cylinder Compact The Kaba elolegic cylinder compact is a mechatronic locking cylinder in Euro profile standard. The embedded electronics Including lithium battery are located within the inner thumb turn. From outside it is operated with a Legic key, from inside it is Operated via a knob. The Kaba elolegic cylinder can be mounted into any door using a standard Euro cylinder. Installation is as easy as removing and replacing one screw.

Cylinder
E-Module
The cylinder e-module is used to supply power to the Kaba elolegic cylinder, memorise authorised users, permit access to the cylinder upon identification of an authorised user and output an acoustic alarm when low battery status is read. It is available in either a timed or non timed version.

Elolegic Reader The Kaba elolegic reader is a miniature access system. Upon identification of an authorised media an opening impulse will be triggered. |

Programmer With the Kaba elolegic programmer access authorizations can be assigned to single users. It is used to recover audit trails and also to adjust the internal clock of the locking device. The programming unit must be used when incorporating time controls and audit trails into the system it also serves as an interface to transfer data generated to and from the organizer software and the locking device. |
